Brgys Cogon & Lawa-an receive projects not coming from the gov’t

Roxas City-  Two barangays here received projects but nrither came from theCity nor Provincial governments.  On Sept. 24, 2011 a consultation meeting was held at Brgy. Cogon.  Present during the consultation were former Mayor Vic Bermejo, Board Member Jeffrey Layo, and City Councilor Carla Abela.  Former Roxas City ABC President and incumbent barangay captain of Mongpong Hon. Wilson Acervo, Sr. was also present.  The consultation-dialogue was also graced by the presence those who ran in different positions during the 2010 elections but did not make it.  They were Dr. Cesar Yap, Jr. and Monchit Albar who ran for board member in the first district; Dennis Altobano, for city vice mayor; and Johnny Magallanes doe City Councilor.  Dr. Yap rendered a song number that added life and color to the residents.
